ListSync
ListSync and TitanSync
To eliminate the possibility of an Air Station or List Processor failure degrading the system, Sundance Digital offers the ListSync/TitanSync solution. In this mode, one or more Air Stations or List Processors serve as a "hot standby" backup of the primary playback system. The ListSync/TitanSync Station maintains a separate, synchronized copy of the server content database.
Every traffic log change on the primary Air Station is immediately updated to the ListSync/TitanSync station via a fault tolerant SQL database server. The backup Air Station operates independently of the primary, and no operator intervention is needed to maintain it. Should the primary Air Station or List Processor fail for any reason, the backup automatically takes control to prevent any loss of revenue.
Since the connection between the primary and backup lists is through a TCP/IP connection, systems may be configured so that the primary and backup Air Stations are in physically isolated locations controlling separate servers with duplicate content.
ListSync Air Stations support up to FOUR playlists each. TitanSync List Processors each control multiple redundant channels, up to the total number of primary playlists. Multiple ListSync/TitanSync control stations permit virtually unlimited "fail safe" channel expansion.
