Overview:

Designed for both technical and editorial staff members, students explore and help design and customize the iNEWS system's database to the requirements of their organization. System managers will also learn to become first line support once installation and training are complete.

Note:  This class is intended for sites that are installing a new iNEWS system.  It is only scheduled in conjuncton with the installation schedule.

Audience:
Technicians, engineers, and other newsroom staff responsible for managing the iNEWS system. Organizations are encouraged to send a mix of editorial and technical people who will be involved with the system on a daily basis and able to teach others.

Prerequisites:
A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows is essential. IN120 iNEWS System Manager Refresher - Online is recommended.
