Overview:
Designed for intermediate editors on either Avid Media Composer or Avid Xpress Pro, this course demonstrates how to prepare still and moving graphics for import into Avid editing systems using both SD and HD formats. Lessons are divided between demonstration and hands-on-practice.  The pricing shown above is for the Avid Media Composer Complete Subscription.

ALEX Version: Available via the Avid Media Composer Complete Subscription or an Avid Enterprise Subscription.

Audience:
Intermediate editors on either Avid Media Composer, Avid Xpress Pro or Avid Symphony users.

What you will learn:

  • Preparing and importing graphics
  • Creating and using alpha channels
  • Working with layers and matte keys
  • Using Adobe Photoshop to treat logos and web graphics

Prerequisites:
MC 101 and MC 110 courses are recommended
