Avid Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Program
ACSR program participants will be trained and certified on the knowledge and skills necessary to perform installations, upgrades, diagnostics, troubleshooting and supporting in a workgroup production or broadcast environment. This multi-certification program is designed to ensure the highest level of technical proficiency and provide a deeper comprehension of the capabilities of Avid products.
ACSR Certification is available as follows:
- ACSR|Macintosh
This ACSR program focuses on Avid products operating on the Macintosh platform. It is designed to meet the technical education requirements of support providers needing a thorough understanding of the technical and operational aspects of Macintosh-based Avid systems. - ACSR|Windows
This ACSR program focuses on meeting the educational requirements of support providers needing a thorough understanding of the technical and operational aspects of Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony, and Avid Xpress operation on the Windows platform. - ACSR|Unity
This ACSR program focuses on the installation, administration, and architecture of Avid Unity MediaNetwork shared storage systems. - ACSR|ISIS
This ACSR program focuses on the installation, administration, and architecture of Avid Unity ISIS shared storage systems. - ACSR Avid|DS
The purpose of this ACSR course is to provide Avid|DS resellers and customers with an in-house technician who can troubleshoot and solve basic hardware and software support issues with regard to Avid|DS.

Application Process

Certification Process
Upon successful completion of the ACSR 400 level course, ACSR candidates are required to pass certification examinations and may be required to pass a practical skills test.
Annual Re-certification
Avid certifies ACSR's for a period of one year. To maintain an active ACSR status, program participants must complete ACSR re-certification courses to sustain current system knowledge and get a passing grade on the re-certification exam.
